通过新的数字化设计方式，纸亭的生成结合了竹和皮纸的材料特性，促进了纸亭材料系统的涌现，达到材料、结构、与形式的统一。伞亭的设计结合了传统的竹材料,纸伞手工艺, 和新的数字化设计技术,试图寻找纸伞结构的全新的物质形态和空间体验,在继承传统的同时又给予了它新的生命力。
